International training projects

Together with our industrial partners, we have implemented various further education projects worldwide. For example, we were able to support the establishment of a steel mill in Alabama with the training of maintenance personnel, have set up a training location in Shanghai and are currently building a mining competence center in India.

Establishment of a training center - Shanghai

Maximator GmbH

In a first step, in cooperation with Maximator in Shanghai, we trained a Chinese trainer in Germany in the field of hydraulics and control technology. In a second step, the necessary infrastructure was set up at the location in China to conduct on-site training. For this purpose, the hydraulic training system Hydrodidact was built based on the German model. After Maximator Shanghai had trained its own employees in the third step, it was the turn of the customers in the fourth step. Both Maximator Shanghai and customers were able to significantly reduce production downtimes.

  • Country: China
  • Main focus: Hydraulic troubleshooting basics
  • Term: 1.5 years
  • Target group: employees and customers

Incorporation of maintenance at the new plant - Alabama

Thyssen Krupp Steel

ATT (Fluid Training) has created a training concept for Thyssen Krupp Steel in Calvert Alabama to qualify 120 employees in maintenance. A special administrative challenge was to integrate the training into the shift schedule and to train the employees with a group size of 12 participants as efficiently as possible. ATT provided the training hardware necessary for the training. In this way, all maintenance personnel in a wide range of areas of hydraulics could be trained within 5 months. Following the training, a team of experts was founded, which has gained further knowledge through practical training on the systems. Not only were the employees qualified, but also corresponding maintenance plans were developed, which still form the basis for an efficient fault analysis.

  • Main focus: maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Term: 1/2 year
  • Target group: mechanics

Establishment of a laboratory for control technology - Poznan

Volkswagen Poznan

ATT was commissioned to plan a control technology laboratory based on the German model of a laboratory at VW Nutzfahrzeuge in Hanover. For this purpose, this laboratory was designed in cooperation with the company Parker Hannifin, built by Parker and then put into operation by ATT in Poznan. The training was then carried out by an ATT employee in Polish in accordance with German standards. In this way, the first and second shifts of production could be prepared for everyday work within 7 months. Today VW Poznan is able to carry out this training independently if required.

  • Term: 1 year
  • Target group: plant operators

Development of a training concept for waste vehicles - Osterholz-Scharmbeck

Faun Umwelttechnik

Faun Umwelttechnik has been receiving training in mobile hydraulics from ATT since 2015. The training concept was specially adapted to the refuse collection vehicles and the technology installed there. The result is a multi-level training concept for systematic fault analysis, which culminates in the third part, the practical work on the vehicle. In 2016 we started an e-learning project with Faun Umwelttechnik, the content was hydraulics; Maintenance; Operation and function and handling of the Faun Control system implemented in digital content. The e-learning is available in Spanish, Portuguese, English and German.
